Guidelines for dress code: NEW THIS SCHOOL YEAR 2026 - 2027 

MONDAY - WEDNESDAY:

  • SCHOOL T-SHIRTS / SWEATSHIRTS

  • Khaki or navy blue : Pants, skorts, shorts (ALL MUST BE MID THIGH / FINGER TIP)

  • SHOES must be closed toe, clean, if you wear sandals they must be closed toe (no crocs)

The administration reserves the right to determine whether a shoe or any other clothing is within the established guidelines. If  a student is not in required attire, a guardian may bring them appropriate clothing or they will be required to go home and receive an absence for the day.

Field Trip Days: Must wear school shirts or sweatshirts 

THURSDAYS ONLY: Students may choose their attire according to the following guidelines: 

GIRLS

  1. Dresses, skirts, skorts, and shorts must go to mid-thigh.

  2. School shirts or Christian Graphic T-shirts are allowed. NO OTHER GRAPHIC IS PERMITTED. T-shirts cannot have any gothic, heavy metal bands, satanic, vulgar, obscene, suggestive, or insulting expressions.

  3. No excessive piercings. No nose rings or other facial piercings.

  4. No cross dressing.

  5. Please wear shorts under all dresses or skirts.

  6. Must bring athletic clothing and shoes for PE. (strictly enforced)

BOYS 

  1. School shirts or Christian Graphic T-shirts are allowed. NO OTHER GRAPHIC IS PERMITTED. T-shirts cannot have any gothic, heavy metal bands, satanic, vulgar, obscene, suggestive, or insulting expressions.

  2. No earrings, nose rings, facial piercings or excessive jewelry. No feminine accessories such as but not limited to hair clips, nail polishes, or such.

  3. Any facial hair must be kept neatly trimmed. It may be left to the administration to determine what is considered to be "neatly trimmed."

  4. Hair should be kept clean and neatly trimmed above shoulder or shorter. The VCS administration reserves the right to ask any student to groom their hair in a manner that will not draw undue attention to the student or his/her appearance.

  5. Clothes should look tidy and student well groomed.
